Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 20, 2026
National Veteran Support respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we handle when you use this website or contact us.
Information we collect
This website does not have forms or accounts, and it does not ask you to enter personal information. We collect personal information only when you choose to contact us, for example by calling (818) 999-5656 or emailing info@avba.org. That may include your name, phone number, email address and anything you tell us about your situation.
How we use it
We use the information you give us only to respond to you and to help you understand Veterans’ benefits. We do not sell your personal information.
Your VA.gov login
We will never ask for your VA.gov username or password. Please do not send us your passwords, Social Security number or bank account numbers by email.
Third-party services on this site
Some content on this site is provided by other companies, which may receive technical information such as your IP address and browser type when the content loads:
- Google Fonts (page fonts)
- Google Maps (the map on our contact sections)
- YouTube, in privacy-enhanced mode (embedded videos)
- Google Ads (advertising and ad measurement, see “Google Ads” below)
- Google Analytics (website analytics, see “Website analytics” below)
- Our website hosting and analytics provider, Vercel (see “Website analytics” below)
Each of these companies has its own privacy policy.
Website analytics
We use Google Analytics, a service of Google LLC, to understand how visitors use this site. It collects information such as the pages you view, how long you stay, the website that sent you, your approximate location, and your device, browser and operating system. Google Analytics uses cookies to tell visits apart (see “Cookies” below). We do not send Google your name, phone number or email address, and we do not use Google Analytics to build advertising profiles. You can opt out by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. Learn how Google handles data in Google’s privacy information.
We also use Vercel Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful. It records the page you visit, the website that sent you, your approximate location (country and region), your device type, browser and operating system, and the time of your visit. It does not use cookies, does not store anything on your device, does not follow you across other websites, and does not build a profile of you. Your IP address is not stored; visits are counted using a short-lived anonymous value that cannot be linked back to you.
We use this information only to understand how the site is used and to improve it. It is not used for advertising and is not sold or shared for advertising. If your browser sends a “Global Privacy Control” or “Do Not Track” signal, analytics is turned off for your visit. Learn more in Vercel’s analytics privacy information.
Google Ads
We use Google Ads to show ads for National Veteran Support on Google. If you reach this site from one of our ads, Google may use cookies and similar technology to measure how well the ad worked, for example whether a visit led to a call. We do not give Google your name, phone number or email address, and we do not sell your personal information. You can control the ads you see, or turn off ad personalization, in Google’s Ads Settings. Learn more in Google’s advertising privacy information.
Cookies
The cookies on this site come from Google. Google Analytics cookies store an anonymous identifier so we can count visits and see how the site is used. Google Ads cookies help us measure the results of our ads. Vercel Web Analytics does not use cookies. Embedded content, such as Google Maps or YouTube videos, may set its own cookies according to that company’s policies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site will still work.
Children
This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Your choices and California privacy rights
You may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or ask us to stop contacting you. Contact us using the details below and we will respond.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new date.
